Welcome to Inkwell by Zara’s Stationery Guide.

Choose from various print methods, paper stocks/colours and envelopes! We have created this step-by-step guide for you to customise your very own perfect stationery.

STEP 1

Choose your Paper Stock/s

Our paper stocks have been carefully chosen to bring you the most premium stationery. We work with Australia’s best printers to ensure exceptional results for you. Please note colours marked with a * are available in 300gsm and 600gsm (great for letterpress/foiling). White ink printing is only suitable on darker-coloured papers.

Colours are indicative only. They may appear different on screen than in real life.
Subject to availability, some card stocks may not be available during peak wedding season.

Choose your Print Method/s

Inkwell by Zara works with Australia’s best printers to bring you the best results possible! Choose from various print methods available; digital print, white ink printing, letterpress, debossing, hot foil stamping and embossing. Our designs are suitable for all print methods, so enjoy choosing! And let us know if you need any help…

You are more than welcome to mix two methods. However, this is more costly are more processes are involved!

DIGITAL / FLAT PRINTING $
Digital printing is the most basic printing method, it is the process of printing flat ink on top of the paper.
Minimum order of 30 pieces.

WHITE INK PRINTING $
White ink printing is the same as digital printing. It is the process of printing flat white ink on top of the paper (suitable for darker paper stocks).
Minimum order of 30 pieces.

LETTERPRESS PRINTING $$
Letterpress printing produces a stunning impression on thick stock, it is the process of pressing matte ink into the paper. We recommend 600gsm stock for this method.
Minimum order of 40 pieces.

BLIND DEBOSSING $$
(Also known as blind letterpress)
Blind debossing is the same as the letterpress print method, just without ink. Leaving a beautiful deep impression. We recommend 600gsm+ stock for this method.
Minimum order of 40 pieces.

HOT FOIL STAMPING $$$
Hot foil stamping is very similar to letterpress printing, but instead of using matte inks, your artwork is pressed into the paper with shiny foils using heat and pressure.
Minimum order of 40 pieces.

BLIND EMBOSSING $$$
Blind embossing is when the artwork is raised and pops out of the paper without ink. It is the opposite of debossing.
Minimum order of 40 pieces.

STEP 2

Choose your Envelope Stock/s

Please choose from the array of envelope colours available. All envelopes can be digitally printed with guest addresses and details. Please note white ink printing is only suitable on darker-coloured papers. Colours are indicative only. They may appear different on screen than in real life.

WAX SEALS $$
Plain or custom stamp designs are available.
You’re also able to add floral or foil leaf pieces to your wax seals.
Minimum order of 40 pieces.

DIE-CUTTING (CUSTOM SHAPES) $$
Custom shapes are the perfect extra element to personalising your wedding invitations. You’re able to get any shape you desire! Please see the shape examples below.
Minimum order of 40 pieces for die-cutting.

ENVELOPE EMBOSSING STAMP $$
Envelope embossing stamps go beyond your wedding/event stationery! Have us design you a monogram so you can use this stamp forever!
Order comes with 1 x Stamp Tool (we will emboss all guest envelopes for you, and then you can keep the stamp for your own stationery!)

ENVELOPE ADDRESSING $$
Printed Front of envelope addressing (Guest Addresses)
Printed Back of envelope addressing (Your return address so your guests know who the envelope is from)
Printed RSVP envelope addressing (Your address printed on the front of your RSVP envelope so your guests don’t need to write it out)
We do also offer hand lettered front of envelope addressing in Zara’s lettering style.

BELLY BANDS $
The perfect final touch to wrap everything in a little package for your event! Belly bands enable your invitation suite to stay intact inside the envelope! Available in all card colours & sizes.
Minimum order of 30 pieces.

TEAR-DROP PAPERCLIPS $
Paperclips can be used to add personalised guest name cards to your invitation suite or to keep a few of your cards together! They allow your invitation suite to stay intact inside the envelope, so your guests get to open all of your cards in order! Minimum order of 20 pieces.
